Horseriding
The Ferenstein horse stud offers recreation for riders of all levels. One can attend classes with an instructor, go on trail rides with frriends and family or an organized carriage trip. In winter there are climatic sleigh rides under the stars, taking its participants back to the good old times and giving breathtaking views.

Fox hunting,
or "Hubertus"
In autumn, residents and guests of Gałkowo celebrate "Hubertus". It is one of the oldest sporting traditions with over 600 years of history. On the day of the patron saint o riders and hunters, a hunting race takes place: a chase full of adrenaline, risk and beauty after the symbolic "fox", i.e. a rider with a tail pinned to their left shoulder. The one who catches the "fox" becomes the "fox" themselves in the following year.

We have two tennis courts and full equipment to play. There is a possibility of booking for games with friends and family, as well as for classes with a trainer - individually or in groups.
Our coach is Mr. Oskar Siewiński, a young enthusiastic high-level competition tennis player.

Welcome to some of the best off-track routes in Poland. From 2014 we also offer classic cross-country skiing routes. We provide cross-country ski and boot rental.

Cranberry Tennis Cup
Every year, the "Cranberry Tennis Cup" Family Tennis Tournament attracts enthusiasts of this sport - from amateurs to professionals - to Gałkowo. During this event, we also organize an after party and a charity auction. Thanks to "Cranberry Tennis Cup" we support Marion Dönhoff Social Schools in Mikołajki.

"Bania" - old-school sauna
By the pond, next to the restaurant, stands a small house, where our guests can find a real wooden Russian "bania". Enriched with an infra-red sauna, it makes for a great way to get some rest - especially in winter. The bravest ones jump straight into the pond!

Leisure does not necessarily have to be active - and we made sure that after a long day of horseriding or canoeing there would be a place to wind down and relax. We invite you to our small climatic "bania" by the pond for a relaxing massage or for a reflexology session. And then perhaps for a glass of wine in the restaurant?..

In Masuria one can find most beautiful hiking and cycling routes. Participants of the annual bicycle race will get to see an exciting and diverse trail of Krutyń, considered one of the most pleasing lowland routes in Europe. On this route one can observe interesting flora and fauna. At the end of the route (read: "finish line"), well-deserved prizes and a rewarding meal welcome the participants in Gałkowo.

Masurian Marathon
Masurian Marathon is an alternative to street running! The route meanders through the reguion, which was the only one in Europe among the finalists of the "Seven New Wonders of the World" competition. Over 42 kilometers of great views! Each participant will find something for themselves: from the king-sized distance of 42.195 km to a Family Run for children and those, who are only about to begin their running adventure.

Every year we meet on July 26-28th in a small circle by a campfire to listen to and to tell mountain climbing stories on the anniversary of Broad Peak conquest, and to honor the memory of Andrzej Sikorski and his fellow climbers.
